“Skyrim: estate building or craft trip”

It means that a couple of years ago I bought a special edition of Skyrim at a discount, just to have it and warm my soul, when suddenly a flu epidemic of the same special kind appeared and locked everyone in its boxes. So I foolishly thought that this was clearly fate, fate, the Illuminati, and settled down for the good old hundreds of hours in the Dwemer lands. And everything would be fine, after 8 years from the last playthrough, the game was perceived as if it was opened for the first time, but now 80 percent of the sides have been repulsed, Alduin, as they say, presses, but without respect, and my relatives’ estates are all sitting in small houses, I think, let me finish everything and at the same time please my inner perfectionist.

I open the workbench menu and understand that I need to buy a lot of everything, and without a normal guide I will have to, God forbid, if not more than a couple of offline days, I will have to shirk around the cities and have time to write down what and how much I bought, otherwise the other two estates will either cause hysterics, or in total take away five days of life like this. Having made well-founded conclusions from the anti-console specialist, his hands quite naturally turned to Google and saw the truth.. For everything. This. Time. Nowhere. There was no. Convenient. List. Necessary. Resources. There were general words, discussions of the functions of the rooms, dry wiki-like calculations of what was made of what, but no one was going to lead by the hand like a home-grown casual artist. Life obviously didn’t prepare me for this, I had to climb into the jungle of other people’s life-long passages, and look for moments in them with the construction of these same estates. Having understood, plus or minus, how it works, by the power given to me by the moth servants, I decided to write this ancient scroll tract in the best traditions of the alchemists. By the way, the recipe for creating a person from the Elric brothers was simpler. Now to the point.

How to build an estate while saving time and money?

If you are here, then most likely you already have at least one plot of land in your personal possession. There are three of them in the game, and they are all identical in appearance and costs. Without departing from the matter, I will immediately say that if you do not plan to sell your soul to mines and hunting, then to build a full-fledged estate with all possible accessories you will need capital of the size about 30,000 gold.

Act of foreplay: just, just in case, I’ll mention that you can get land in Morthal, Dawnstar and Falkreath for 5000 gold each, having previously appeased the local jarls by completing their quests. If you try, they will even make you a tane and slave they’ll give a housecarl in addition. However, now you have already unloaded all your inventory in some Medovik, stocked up on coins, and even a pickaxe with a cleaver, you are looking at an empty area and are eager to get down to business.

Stage 1: small house.

1. Open the chest and loot from there all the freebies that you have, namely: sawn logs x20, clay x30, iron ingots x6, quarry stone x30 and corundum ingot x1.
2. Required to immediately purchase: 10 sawn logs, 2 straw, 11 iron ingots, 5 quarry stones,
3. Approach the drawing and create a small house plan.
4. Pray to the anvil, for it will become your best friend for the next hour, and make 40 nails (4 sets), 3 iron fittings, 1 lock and 2 hinges (1 set).
5. Crawl to the workbench and just craft everything* they give you until the menu is empty.

*depending on the site, it will be possible to build a beekeeper, a mill or a fish nursery. For simplification, the guide assumes the availability of resources for any of the cases.

6. Now that the small house and the external decoration are completely ready, we need to find a manager: we simply ask the housecarl or some other companion to follow us, bring him to the site and in the dialogue offer to work in the house (Serana and the girl from the Skaal village will not be available as a manager, I already checked: c).

7. You can immediately ask the manager to help improve the house:
– cart (500g.)
– bard (1500g.)
– horse (1000 g.)
– cow (200 g.)
— chicken, 3 pcs. (25g. for 1 chicken)

*you should not ask to furnish the house with furniture at this stage, since later the original building can be replaced with a vestibule;

Stage 2: main hall.

1. We make a plan https://luckbuckbetscasino.co.uk/withdrawal/ of the main hall on the drawing table.
2. We are purchasing additional:

— iron ingots x12; — sawn log x55; — quarry stone x77; — corundum ingot x1;
3. We make on an anvil:

— iron fittings x1; — lock x1; — nails x85 (9 sets); — loops x2 (2 sets);
4. Go to the workbench and craft until the menu is depleted.

Stage 3: East, West and North wings.

Here we have 3 types of buildings for each of the wings (with a different set of resources): tower, extension with a balcony, regular extension. Accordingly, of the three proposed options in each wing, you can choose only one.

East wing:
— armory (extension with balcony);
– kitchen (regular extension);
— library (tower);

West Wing:
— bedrooms (extension with balcony);
– enchanter’s tower (tower);
— greenhouse (regular extension);

North wing:
— alchemical laboratory (tower);
– storage room (extension with balcony);
— room for trophies (regular extension);

1. On the drawing table, select the desired option for the wing (you cannot activate several plans for different wings at the same time). As soon as you complete one wing, choose another.
2. We determine the type of the selected building according to the drawing (tower, extension with a balcony or a regular extension).

We purchase and produce resources for regular extension:

— sawn logs x18; — quarry stones x14; — clay x3; — iron ingots x8; — corundum ingots x2; — nails x20 (2 sets); — loops x4 (2 sets); — iron fittings x2; — locks x2;

We purchase and produce resources for extensions with balcony:

— quarry stones x18; — sawn logs x14; — clay x3; — iron ingots x11; — corundum ingots x3; — nails x14 (2 sets); — loops x6 (3 sets); — iron fittings x3; — locks x3;

We purchase and produce resources for towers:

— sawn logs x24; — quarry stones x16; — clay x9; — iron ingots x13; — corundum ingots x3; — nails x34 (4 sets); — loops x6 (3 sets); — iron fittings x3; — locks x3;

3. Once again, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is impossible to take all three plans you need at once: take one, extract resources, build, take the second, and so on until all three wings are ready. Immediately after this, we go back to the drawing table and replace the small house with a vestibule if desired.

4. To reduce the waiting time before starting to arrange the basement, you can contact the housecarl with a request to furnish the rooms of the house. By the way, there will be no difference in resource costs between buying furniture and making it yourself, unless you decide to voluntarily get bogged down in the mines and gallop across the expanses near Whiterun in search of the next saber fangs.

Furnishing cost:
Small house/lobby – 1000 g.
Main hall – 3500 g.
Armory – 2000g.
Kitchen – 1500g.
Library – 1500g.
Bedroom – 2000z.
Enchanter’s Tower – 2500g.
Greenhouse – 1500g.
Trophy room – 1500g.
Alchemy Lab – 2500g.
Pantry – 1000g.

5. I advise you to teleport somewhere far away and use the time rewind, since you will have to wait quite a long time until the manager furnishes all the rooms, but in general, nothing prevents you from calmly continuing to play and periodically visiting the estate to check the progress of work.

Stage 4: crafting the furnishings for the basement.

Unfortunately, you will have to deal with it manually and spend time searching for amulets of all nine gods of the pantheon.

1. We go down to the basement and get acquainted with the new workbench, which will allow us to create the necessary furniture.
2. You will need to get:

— iron ingots x61; — corundum ingots x14; — sawn logs x37; — steel ingots x33; — glass x1; — quarry stones x17; — strips of leather x8; — bear skins x2; — deer skins x1; — small horns x1; — large horns x1; — snow saber skins x1; — saber fangs x2; — straw x4; — goat horns x5; — clay x8; — flawless amethysts x1; — flawless sapphires x1; — orichalcum ingots x2; — silver bars x4; — ebonite ingots x2; — mercury ore ingots x2; — gold bars x2; — purified moonstones x2; — purified malachites x2; — dragon bones x1; — dragon scales x1; — vampire ashes x1 (if you are a vampire and need a personal coffin); — amulets of the gods x9 (Akatosh, Arkay, Stendarr, Zenithar, Dibella, Kynareth, Mary, Talos, Julianos);

3. Just crafting until it stops.
4. We return to the drawing table on the street and remove all the workbenches from the rooms.

Congratulations! You have become the proud owner of a personal estate! It’s time to move your family here, if you have one, and enjoy the bourgeois life~
